The top White House economic adviser, Gary Cohn, announced his resignation Tuesday. Cohn was at odds with the president over proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. Meanwhile, Democrats had a strong showing at the polls in the Texas primary, and the Justice Department is suing California over immigration policy.
