President Trump vowed to work with Chinese President Xi to help the Chinese telecom company ZTE "get back into business," tweeting "too many jobs in China lost." Last month, the U.S. Commerce Department blocked ZTE from importing American components for seven years, because the U.S. says the company violated sanctions with North Korea and lied about punishing those who had done so.
