New China Policy Forces Some U.S. Cities To Squeeze Recycling Efforts

Certain plastics are no longer being recycled in Flagstaff, Arizona. It's the same for Douglas County, Oregon, where one recycling facility virtually shut down its entire program.

Several other U.S. cities are facing the same recycling squeeze — all of this is because China has drastically reduced what recyclables it will import from the U.S. Heather van Blokland (@hvanblokland) from KJZZ reports.
