More Than 3,000 Reports of Sexual Assault During Uber Rides in 2018

Uber says that there were 3,045 reports of sexual assault during rides in the United States in 2018. That's up from 2,936 reported in 2017.

The company stresses that there were 2.3 billion Uber rides during that time and that assaults are rare, but it reveals risks for passengers and drivers.
