CDC Tells Public Health Agencies To Prepare For COVID-19 Vaccine By November

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is telling public health agencies across the country to prepare for COVID-19 vaccine distribution for health care workers and other at-risk groups by late October to early November. Two vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer are furthest along in clinical testing.

Here & Now's Tonya Mosley speaks with Angela Rasmussen, a virologist and associate research professor at Columbia University, about what this hypothetical vaccination plan could entail.
