COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to spike in El Paso, Texas. Nearly a thousand people have officially died due to complications from the virus in the county.

Jorge Ortiz sees this devastation up close. He manages six funeral homes in El Paso. These days, his job includes figuring out where to store so many bodies and how to hold drive-thru funerals and live stream memorial services.
