Six years later than originally planned, Harvard University is ready to move forward with a major expansion in Allston. The Boston Redevelopment Authority has approved construction of Harvard's new Science and Engineering Complex in the Barry's Corner section of Allston.

When it's completed in 2020, Harvard expects about 900 undergrads and about 400 engineering and applied science graduate students to use the laboratories, classrooms and research space in the complex.

Harvard President Drew Faust joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the project.

This segment aired on April 15, 2016.
