Lack of Inspection Cited in Fall River Fire

As Fall River residents mourn the deaths of four women in a fire Wednesday night, state and local officials say the function hall where the fire broke out was never inspected because it was listed in city records as a private residence.

Officials say an inspection might have forced the building's owners to enhance safety measures.
