One Key Big Dig Tunnel to Re-Open

A big dig roadway shutdown for nearly a month is set to re-open at midnight.

Ramp 'A' connects interstate 93 to the eastbound portion of the Ted Williams Tunnel, which carries traffic to Logan International Airport.

Governor Mitt Romney says the recent installation of new connection brackets was central to the decision to re-open the ramp.

He says the connection bracket problem is separate from that of the epoxy bolts called into question earlier and raises real concerns about the oversight of Bechtel/ Parsons Brinckerhoff.
