Sales of Multi-Family Homes Fall

Multifamily homes in Massachusetts appear to be affected in the state's real estate slump.

The tracking firm the Warren Group reports sales of two-family homes dropped more than 23 percent in the first eight months of the year, compared with last year.

Sales of three-family homes fell by almost 30 percent during the same period.

The Warren Group blames a decline in new real estate investors.
