"So Much, So Fast"

The new documentary, "So Much, So Fast," is an intimate portrait of a family in crisis. It follows Stephen Heywood, who at the age of 29 was diagnosed with the neuro-degenerative disease ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Newton-based filmmakers Steven Ascher and Jeanne Jordan captured Stephen's physical deterioration, while at the same time documenting its effects on his relationships, especially with his wife and his brother Jamie, who founded the ALS Therapy Development Foundation.

Jamie Heywood and filmmakers, Stephen Ascher and Jeanne Jordan join WBUR's Bob Oakes to talk about "So Much So Fast."

This program aired on October 27, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
