A Conversation with BU's New President
By Bob Oakes

Listen to story (Real Audio)

Boston - April 27, 2006 - Boston University formally inaugurates its 10th president today. Robert Brown is formerly the provost of MIT. He was selected to lead BU last June, and took office in September.

He came to the university after a tumultuous time: former NASA administrator Dan Goldin had been picked for the presidency in 2003. But he resigned after a conflict with the university trustees and before he ever took office.

Bob Oakes sat down with Robert Brown before today's inauguration.
