Boston, MA - June 22, 2006 - In July 2006 Boston Medical Center celebrates its tenth anniversary.

In this special report for WBUR, Rachel Gotbaum looks at how Boston Medical Center was created from the merger of two very different medical institution and how the hospital was established to build on a century-old tradition of caring for the poor in Boston.
