New Mortgage Regs Delayed

Attorney General Martha Coakley is delaying implementation of new regulations that tighten how mortgage brokers and lenders write loans.

They were set to take effect Thursday. The new date will now be January 2nd. Coakley announced the extension yesterday, after meeting with mortgage brokers and representatives of the Massachusetts Bankers Association last week.
