Antiwar Network Targets Colleges

Public opposition to the war in Iraq is at an all-time high. According to a recent poll by the Los Angeles Times and Bloomberg, about 70 percent of Americans want the US to withdraw from Iraq right away or at least by the end of next year.

You might expect such opinion to be reflected on college campuses, traditionally hotbeds of social movements. But at schools in New England, students haven't mobilized en masse against the war. WBUR's Monica Brady-Myerov investigates why not.

Audio for this story will be available on WBUR's web site later today.
