CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - December 05, 2007 - Today, Boston College is releasing a new strategy for expanding its campus and boosting its overall mission as a leading Catholic, and liberal arts, university.

Its 10-year strategic plan outlines the school's plans to spend more than $1.5 billion dollars on new academic programs and faculty, and on new renovation and construction.

Much of the expansion will be in Brighton, on land formerly owned by the Boston Archdiocese.

For a preview, WBUR's Bob Oakes spoke with BC President, Reverend William Leahy at his office on campus.
