"One True Romance"

WORCESTER, Mass. - February 14, 2008 - Romance is big and bold and sometimes larger than life on Valentine's Day. But often a love story also lives simply, in the everyday. That's what a central Massachusetts publisher celebrates with its new business idea.
One True Romance, as the company is called, turns routine romance into a love story for the generations to come. This, by writing and publishing in book form the story of any couple's romance.
The company's new and first book tells the tale of a couple from Auburn, Kristin Johnson and Mike Salvatore. Their book is called "It Always Felt Right".
Johnson, who now goes by the married name Salvatore, says their romance novella is better than she'd anticipated, "I thought it would be somewhat of a boring book just because our story's not that interesting. We met in college, went to two different colleges, just kind of your normal dating relationship, up and got engaged. But when you read the book, it's actually very interesting."
Publisher, Theresa Cohen, worked with a team to write the Salvatores' story. She came up with the idea for the company, One True Romance, more than a year ago and has just signed on to her fourth book.
We visited with Theresa Cohen in Worcester this week to talk about her venture.
