Partial Gag Order Issued For Wilkerson, Turner

A federal judge has put limits on what Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner and former state Senator Dianne Wilkerson can say publicly about the corruption case against them.

U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Timothy S. Hillman has issued a partial gag order in the case, saying Turner and Wilkerson cannot disclose any of the government's evidence.

Hillman also blasted the U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan's office for releasing surveillance photos that allegedly show Turner and Wilkerson taking cash bribes, suggesting it was a publicity stunt.

Wilkerson has agreed to comply with the gag order, but Turner says it gives prosecutors an unfair advantage.
