Forecast: Pleasantly Warm Weather Takes Us Into The Weekend

I hope you enjoyed an overnight without much humidity and more comfortable temperature readings. This morning we will enjoy more sunshine. There is a frontal system, a weak one, headed south. This front might kick off a brief sprinkle or shower for a few moments in the afternoon, but otherwise it will be a mostly sunny and very warm day. Look for readings just shy of 90 degrees from about 1 to 4 p.m. before falling back this evening.

The Patriots are playing at home tonight and temperatures will start in the low 80s for kickoff and fall to the 70s during the game.

Tomorrow and the weekend generally look like great weather days. I expect an abundance of sunshine and warm temperatures. There’s an outside chance of a pop-up shower, mostly north on Saturday and some clouds will be increasing Sunday afternoon ahead of the next weather system.

Average temperatures this time of year around within a few degrees of 80, but this weekend they will be 3 to 7 degrees above average mostly in the mid- to perhaps upper-80s.

Humidity will be in check through Sunday. It won’t be super dry air, but it will be comfortable enough and the kind of air where you can keep windows open at night.

The next chance of rain arrives Monday. There will be a slow moving frontal system passing across New England. Early signs point to rainfall mostly west of the coastal plain, a similar pattern we have since early spring. Until then, enjoy the nice weather.
