It's been just over 100 days into the Trump administration, and yet political operatives are beginning to prepare for the presidential race in 2020. Eyes are on several Massachusetts Democrats who could play big roles in that campaign, including possibly even as candidates for president and vice president.

Topping that list is Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who first faces a re-election contest next year. Other Massachusetts Democrats getting noticed for standing up to President Trump include U.S. Reps. Seth Moulton, Joe Kennedy and Katherine Clark.

Tufts University political science professor Jeff Berry joined Morning Edition to imagine the influence some of our local politicos could have on the next presidential race.

This segment aired on May 2, 2017.
