In Worcester Saturday, Massachusetts Democrats gathered for their annual issues convention — as they continued to deal with last November's loss of the White House to President Donald Trump.

In response, the state's Democrats adopted their most progressive party platform and heard from candidates hoping for a shot to re-claim the governorship from Republican Gov. Charlie Baker.

WBUR reporter and anchor Steve Brown was at the convention hall Saturday and joined Weekend Edition Sunday.

This segment aired on June 4, 2017.
