Analyst: Why The Recent Rise In The State's Unemployment Rate Isn't Cause For Concern

More people are looking for work in Massachusetts.

Because of a growing labor pool, the state's unemployment rate is up again. State figures show it increased 0.3 percent between April and last month.

The state's 4.2 percent unemployment rate is still slightly below the national average.

We asked professor of public policy Michael Goodman, at UMass Dartmouth, whether this increase in the unemployment rate is cause for concern.
