Third District Race Is Crowded, Competitive For Democrats

No matter what else happens in the midterm elections, Massachusetts will be getting a new representative in Congress, because current Rep. Niki Tsongas is not seeking re-election.

Her decision has created the most competitive and crowded congressional field in the state: 10 Democrats are in the race, running hard toward Election Day, which is Tuesday, Sept. 4.
