Forecast: Sunshine Returns And Lasts Through The Weekend

While a multi-day rain event continues to unfold across the southeast here in New England we are actually looking at three very nice days which will continue into the weekend.

Not only am I expecting dry weather but it's going to be warm for the time of year as well. We have lost a lot of daylight in the past few weeks and the sun will set before 7 p.m. for the first weekend since back in March.

If you are headed to the beach this weekend be aware that there will be some larger swells today and tomorrow along the south coast in addition to rip currents. This is all due to Florence.

Temperatures tomorrow and Sunday will be a little bit milder, with Sunday being the warmest of those two days when temperatures reach into the 80s.

It's been somewhat humid this week and I do expect a continuation through the weekend, although it won't be oppressive. Next week, as the remnants of Florence move off toward the north, it may pull some higher humidity into the region.
