Pedestrian hit by MBTA bus in Boston's South End
A pedestrian was struck by an MBTA bus in Boston's South End on Tuesday morning, officials said.
Boston police told WBUR that the bus struck the man around 7:20 a.m. in the area of Harrison Avenue and Traveler Street. He was transported to Tufts Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to the police report.
The report lists the man as between 40 and 60 years old.
A spokesperson from the transit police said the MBTA bus was out of service at the time of the incident.
