National Geographic Names 2010's Weirdest Newly Discovered Creatures
A bunch of end of year lists are making their way into the world. Lonely Planet's 10 best countries to visit; our very own best music lists. But one of the more interesting ones? National Geographic has made a list of the 10 weirdest newly discovered animals.
One of them is the sneezing snub-nosed monkey, who is missing so much nose that rainfall "is said to make it sneeze." Sadly, the magazine notes, the only observed monkey was had for dinner in Myanmar.
