The NFL is facing calls for on-field changes that will protect players from concussions. Clifton Brown covers the NFL for  the Sporting News.

Brown joins Bill Littlefield to discuss his proposals to improve safety, including hiring neurologists who would be on the field and work independently of the teams to determine whether players were fit to go back into games.

This segment aired on May 12, 2012.
