Telegraph: 'A handsome memoir' -- "Gilliam arrived in London in the summer of 1967, abandoning a promising career in advertising and a covetable house in Laurel Canyon to follow his girlfriend, journalist Glenys Roberts, to England. In effect, Gilliam found a way to 'brand' the Pythons, by co-opting the distinctive Sixties-era Victoriana seen on the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper cover or in the clothing store I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet. Gilliam's carnivalesque lettering and his animated cut-outs of stomping feet and bathing beauties tied the sketches together."

The Guardian: Terry Gilliam laughs off Variety's dead Python blunder — "Reports of Terry Gilliam’s death may have been greatly exaggerated, but that hasn’t stopped the film director and Monty Python troupe member from taking great pleasure in confirming them. After Hollywood film industry bible Variety mistakenly announced that Gilliam had passed away, sparking a torrent of mirth at its faux pas, the UK-based film-maker has taken to Facebook to 'apologize for being dead'."

Entertainment Weekly: Terry Gilliam to finally make his Don Quixote movie as part of Amazon deal — "Terry Gilliam has been talking about making a Don Quixote movie forever—or at least since the 1990s. In 1998, he went into production in Spain with Johnny Depp and Jean Rochefort—but virtually everything went wrong and the plug was pulled. 'It’s obsessive… desperate… pathetic… foolish,' said Gilliam in 2014, referring to his dream to make a film based on Cervantes’ classic. 'It’s this growth, this tumor that’s become part of my system that has to get out if I’m to survive.'"
