The weekend shooting in Tucson, Ariz., has anew questions about security for members of Congress.

Many members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation are in Washington for the start of this week's formal session. The work of that session has been put on hold for the time being. But at least one congressman did have an appearance scheduled in his district on Monday: Newly elected Rep. Bill Keating went ahead with his public groundbreaking for new housing in Weymouth. WBUR was there.

Guest:

  • Steve Brown, WBUR State House reporter

This segment aired on January 10, 2011.
