The cost of health care is rising, and of course that is not news. It is surprising, however, that despite the continuing national debate over reforming the health care system, few of us really know what our health care actually costs.
To help consumers address that, WBUR has launched a new online social network called Healthcare Savvy for people who want answers. Healthcare Savvy offers guidance about costs and how to make decisions on how and where to shop for care.
WBUR's Martha Bebinger created Healthcare Savvy, and gives us an inside look at the new site.
