After two months of searching, the Red Sox have finally found a manager. The team offered Bobby Valentine the position on Tuesday, and the veteran manager accepted the position, making him the team's 45th manager.

Valentine was somewhat of dark horse candidate, yet he brings nearly two decades of managing experience with the Texas Rangers, New York Mets, and the Marines of Chiba Lotte, Japan. For the last two years he's been an analyst with ESPN. But when the Red Sox job opened up, Valentine leapt at the opportunity.

"If I was Plan B and I got this job, I would feel like it was Christmas and I was Plan A, the luckiest guy in the world," Valentine said after interviewing with the team earlier this month.

The question is: Will Bobby Valentine prove to be the right fit for the Red Sox? Only A Game's Bill Littlefield will be in the studio to tell us what he thinks.
