In Moderate N.H., Legislature Racing To The Right

The conventional wisdom is that New Hampshire, in contrast to conservative Iowa, is home to moderate Republican primary voters. Polls there continue to favor Mitt Romney in next week's first-in-the-nation primary, but there are other indicators of the political zeitgeist.

For instance, New Hampshire state legislators in Concord are advancing some very hot-button conservative proposals this week, including a repeal of the state same-sex marriage law. Radio Boston's Adam Ragusea has been following developments in the Granite State and explains what, if anything, that says about the mood of New Hampshire voters.
