This fall, 30,000 copies of one short story will be handed out citywide — at local community centers, farmer's markets, public library branches and MBTA stations.

It's all part of the Boston Book Festival's One City One Story program, now in its third year. The idea is to get people reading and talking about the same story.

We find out this year's pick and talk with the story's author.

Guests:

  • Deborah Z. Porter, founder and executive producer, Boston Book Festival Founder
  • Anna Solomon, author of "The Little Bride" and this year's One City One Story selection, "The Lobster Mafia Story"

This segment aired on June 7, 2012.
