Boston Globe: "In a contentious meeting Friday, one of the state’s most politically powerful unions tried but failed to unite around a Democatic candidate for US Senate, dealing a blow to US Representative Stephen F. Lynch, a former ironworker and union leader."

NECN: "The agreement calls for three public, general issue debates in Boston, Worcester and Springfield, as well as debates on jobs and the economy, domestic policy and foreign policy.  Debates will also be held in Lowell and New Bedford, with the sixth location to be determined."
