The candidates are already lining up to become the next governor of Massachusetts.

Charlie Baker is the only Republican in the race so far, along with five Democrats and one independent.

It is Baker's second run for the corner office. He ran unsuccessfully against Deval Patrick in 2010. Baker was Governor William Weld's Secretary of Health and Human Services and then Weld's budget chief. After that he became CEO of Harvard Pilgrim. And for the past three years he's worked at the venture capital firm General Catalyst Partners.
