The "Ghostbusters" reboot hits theaters this Friday and it may look very familiar to Greater Bostonians. Though the film is set in New York City, the majority of the scenes were filmed around Boston.

While eagle eyes may have spotted some familiar hangouts in the film's trailer, they may not have caught the science. A quick shot of a whiteboard behind Kristen Wiig's character, a particle physicist, has been analyzed by laypeople and scientists alike. And yes, those equations are real

They come from Lindley Winslow, who helped craft the science to support Wiig's character.

Guest

Lindley Winslow, assistant professor of physics at MIT.

This segment aired on July 13, 2016.
