CommonHealth: Should Insurers Be Required To Cover Experimental Lyme Disease Treatments?

Gov. Charlie Baker has until midnight tonight to decide whether he's going to sign a controversial bill that requires health insurers to cover long-term antibiotic treatment for Lyme disease.

Similar mandates have passed in other New England states. But Baker has questioned whether long-term antibiotics are a clinically accepted treatment.
