Emilie Parker was just 6 years old when she was killed in a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. After the shooting her mother, Alissa Parker, struggled to play with her other two daughters. It reminded her too much of playing with Emilie.

And yet, Alissa Parker has found forgiveness in her heart. She writes about it in her new book, "An Unseen Angel."

Guest

Alissa Parker, co-founder of the organization Safe and Sound Schools.

This segment aired on April 27, 2017.
