A monumental election in Framingham Tuesday night, as voters elected their first mayor ever. Back in April, voters narrowly approved a measure to change Framingham from a town to a city by just 104 votes.

Now, voters have elected the first public officials to craft the new government, including a political newcomer, Yvonne Spicer, who spoke with Morning Edition Wednesday morning. We'll re-listen to the conversation and get some analysis from a reporter who covered the race.
