The funeral for Cardinal Bernard Law, the former archbishop of Boston who resigned after his role in the Catholic church's sexual abuse scandal was revealed, will be held this Thursday. Pope Francis will preside over the funeral rites, held at St. Peter's Basilica.

For victims of clergy sexual abuse, Cardinal Law's death has re-opened old wounds.
