Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey's effort to try to stop the repeal of net neutrality appears to be gaining support, even on the other side of the political aisle. Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins says she will support Markey's bill, which now has enough co-sponsors for a floor vote.

Last month, the Federal Communications Commission voted along party lines to deregulate internet providers and remove Obama-era rules that require internet providers to treat all web traffic equally.
