State Senate To Vote On Foundation Budget Reforms
ResumeThe "foundation budget" was part of the state's major education reform law 25 years ago. Back in 2015, a Beacon Hill commission found that the state is underestimating the cost of education in the state to the tune of $1 to 2 billion a year. Today in the Senate, a major reform to that formula is under consideration.
