Week In Review: State Budget Proposal, Helsinki Summit
ResumeGov. Charlie Baker is reviewing a $42 billion budget that was passed this week by state legislators — two weeks behind schedule.
The hold up was due, in part, to a fight over proposed amendments that would restrict cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities. The amendments did not make it into the final budget.
Also this week, fallout from President Trump's comments during the Helsinki Summit, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
