The ocean is coming for Boston's Seaport district. A 2022 report by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts sea levels will rise about a foot by 2050. Higher tides and bigger storm surges caused by climate change will likely increase flooding in costal cities.

Boston Globe reporter David Abel's new film "Inundation District" explores the future of the bustling harbor-side neighborhood and what's at stake if it sinks beneath the waves.

This segment aired on November 1, 2023.
