More than 200 banners are now hung around Roxbury. Each names and honors a Black woman leader in Boston.

Two guests join Radio Boston to talk about the project. Ed Gaskin is the executive director of Grove Hall Main Streets, which is hosting the project. And Priscilla Douglas is featured on a banner. She was the state's first Black woman cabinet secretary, serving the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations.

This segment aired on December 5, 2023.
