Claudine Gay will remain as Harvard's president.

The Harvard Corporation issued a letter this morning backing Gay, despite uproar from lawmakers, alumni and donors after comments she made in response to a question about calls for genocide at a congressional hearing last week.

WBUR education reporter Max Larkin joins the show to discuss the news.
