Local teacher, filmmaker to spotlight inner cities school systems in latest documentary

Brockton's teacher shortages and budget shortfalls are just the latest example of how urban schools struggle to educate children with limited resources.

But instead of focusing on what's not working, Lynn Vocational School teacher and Brockton-based filmmaker Noube Rateau wants to ask another question: what does work?

Rateau, who has won awards for his films on policing and immigration, is setting his sights on education for his latest project and hopes to provide some solutions for the state's gateway city schools.
