COVID isolation guidelines may soon change. What does this mean for Mass.?
ResumeThe Washington Post reported yesterday the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention could soon drop its isolation guidance for COVID-19. Currently, the CDC advises isolating for five days following a positive COVID test. But according to the report, anonymous sources inside the agency said guidance would move to using lack of fever and reduced symptoms as a guide instead.
The CDC has not confirmed the reports, but both Oregon and California already practice similar approaches.
