OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
NO PLEDGE NECESSARY. Pledging does not increase the chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Open only to legal residents of the 50 states of the U.S. (including the District of Columbia ) and Canada, 18 or older. All sweepstakes begin at 9:00 AM ET on January 27, 2012. Deadlines for entry for each sweepstakes vary as specified below. A pledge in any amount within these deadlines results in an automatic entry. All WBUR sustainers are automatically entered. All times referenced are Eastern Time. To enter the sweepstakes without a pledge send a 3×5 card with full name, address, phone number, and email address to WBUR, c/o SWEEPSTAKES 890 Commonwealth Ave, 3rd Floor Boston, MA 02215. One entry per person. All entries must be complete to be eligible. This sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. By entering sweepstakes, entrant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts for resolution of all disputes. Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing approximately 10 days after the deadline. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of WBUR and will not be returned. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email. If potential winner(s) cannot be reached after 5 days from first notification attempt, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited. Entrants need not be present to win. In the event the winner declines the prize, another winner will be selected. In the event the second winner declines the prize, the prize may be designated for another sweepstakes or fundraising auction. Persons affiliated with The WBUR Group are ineligible to win. Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and a receipt. No substitution will be allowed and prizes may not be redeemed for cash or other consideration. The WBUR Group is not responsible or liable for multiple entries completed or entered by other than human means or entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, illegible, mutilated, forged, destroyed, incomplete, garbled, lost, misdirected, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, postage-due, or otherwise not in compliance with Official Rules (and such entries will be disqualified). Sweepstakes prizes and deadlines are as follows:
(a) Prize is one (1) dinner at Upstairs on the Square with WBUR hosts and personalities. Date and dinner to be determined at WBUR’s discretion. Five (5) couples will be chosen at random. Prize is estimated at $200 per couple. Deadline to enter is Thursday, February 9, 2011 at 11:59 PM.
All entries must be postmarked by deadlines listed above or published online at: http://www.wbur.org/support/sweepstakesrules. Sweepstakes deadlines subject to be extended. Winners are responsible for payment of all tax obligations. Dates, times, deadlines, price, and prizes subject to change. Estimated odds of winning are determined by the number of entries received.
