On April 27-28, 2004, Boston University's African Presidential Archives and Research Center hosted the 2004 African Presidential Roundtable. The symposium featured nine former African heads of state, who discussed a range of issues impacting U.S.-Africa relations following closed-door talks on the subjects.

On this week's show, Charles Stith, former U.S. ambassador to Tanzania and the current director of the African Presidential Archives and Research Center, discussed and previewed this year's roundtable agenda.
